GOOD CONVERSATION

A good pub serves as “the third place”. That is, the comfortable place regularly visited other than work and home. The milieu of Pints helps fill this need. We attract an eclectic, diverse clientele whose conversational interests go beyond “Hey, how ‘bout those (name a sports team)”. “Best place to READ the Game” was awarded due to the fact we have only one T.V. and it is silent, running only in closed caption mode, it does not dominate or drive the atmosphere.

Music, too, sets a mood aimed at encouraging that conversational gambit with your neighbor. While visiting Pints you’ll hear British music only. It will run the gamut from Beatles to Bagpipes, Richard Thompson to Steeleye Span, Gilbert and Sullivan to the Clash – all at volume levels that allow it to fade into the background as you warm to the conversation with your old friend or soon to be new friend.

Of course, we hope you’ll be moved to talk about our great handcrafted beer or perhaps a dram you find particularly pleasing, while you tuck into one of our satisfying meals.

Rest assured you won’t be disturbed by the boors, so commonplace, it seems, today. At Pints, civilized discourse still holds sway.
